By challenge · Multi-channel selling

Stop reconciling channels in spreadsheets.

When each sales surface has its own export, the order desk becomes a merge job. adorabl tags where demand came from, applies fulfillment defaults, and keeps ship-to-invoice on one record.

The challenge

Shopify, marketplace, wholesale, and phone orders all need stock, shipping, and billing — but operators should not maintain four fulfillment playbooks by hand.

One sales order model

Every channel lands on the same confirm → fulfill → invoice spine. Method and warehouse snapshot at submit.

Defaults instead of tribal knowledge

Each channel can carry fulfillment method, label policy, and default warehouse so POS pickup does not walk the Amazon FBA path.

Mix you can show leadership

Dashboard channel mix surfaces GMV and margin by source without a weekend pivot table.

Capabilities that close the gap

Documented Commerce and AR building blocks — not a separate multi-channel product SKU.

How multi-channel work runs

Fast path from mixed demand to books that match the carton.

  1. 01

    Connect or tag the source

Connect Shopify for storefront and POS sync. Tag Amazon FBA, B2B Portal, EDI, B2C Web, or none for manual orders.

  2. 02

    Submit with channel defaults

Fulfillment method and warehouse ride onto the order so operators are not guessing per line.

  3. 03

    Clear the right queue

In-house work moves through pick–pack–ship. Partner methods wait for confirmation.

  4. 04

    Invoice once per full ship

Each fully shipped fulfillment creates its AR invoice; partials keep the order open.

What good looks like

Operational outcomes you can defend from current docs.

Fewer mis-routed fulfillments

Channel defaults reduce “shipped from the wrong node” mistakes between POS, web, and marketplace.

Reporting without dual entry

Channel tags travel with the order for dashboard mix and settlement reconciliation workflows.

Shopify inventory stay closer

Shipments can push warehouse quantity back to Shopify after you map locations and SKUs.

Honest connector scope

Shopify has a full connect guide today. Other channels are tags and workflows — plan integrations accordingly.

Example · Trail Ridge Outfitters

Three channels, one morning desk.

  1. 1. Shopify Web

Parcel orders fulfill in-house from Denver DC with label purchase when required.

  2. 2. Shopify POS

Counter orders default to customer pickup at the Boulder store warehouse.

  3. 3. B2B Portal

Aspen Sports Co. wholesale cartons ship from the same DC stock pool.

Questions operators ask.

Straight answers grounded in what adorabl supports today.

Which channels does adorabl support?

Orders can carry Shopify Web, Shopify POS, Amazon FBA, B2C Web, B2B Portal, EDI, or none. Shopify has a dedicated connector. Other values are channel tags with fulfillment defaults and reporting.

Do all channels auto-sync like Shopify?

No. Shopify sync imports products, locations, customers, and orders. Marketplace and portal channels are documented primarily as tags and fulfillment workflows unless a specific connector guide exists.

How does settlement work by channel?

Channel tags support settlement clearing narratives for marketplace and Shopify payouts. The settlement reconciliation guide is still thin in docs — treat payout matching as an intended workflow with limited published how-to today.
